It is a key feedstock in the manufacturing of polyurethane (PU).
Examples of applications
Polyether polyol main application is in PU foams. One of which are flexible foam that are used in applications such as furniture, car seats, carpet underlay and bedding.
Another is rigid foam used as insulation in the construction industry and in commercial refrigeration and packaging. Other uses are in the coating, adhesives, sealant and elastomers (CASE) system.
